Truffle Hunting Tour

One of the important exciting and original  tour, is, with no doubt  ,the truffle Tuscany  Tour .It is one of the most important regions in Italy for truffles production both white and than black .Board a private air-conditioned minivan-Mercedes-benz  with a tour-guide, starting from, and returning,the  cruise ship in the Livorno port ,we  will travel to San Miniato village  in Tuscany, famous for the rare white truffle ,the greatest ever  found to the world .

In San Miniato  ,We will meet an expert guide  and you'll learn about the area's food traditions and local truffle varieties. .
This full day expedition ,will introduce you to the wonderful world of truffles and will give you a tasting the tipical tuscan  wine  . These delicacies, which can cost thousands of dollars/euro  per kilogram  , grow, just  in the wild and can only be found by expert foragers aided by highly trained dogs.

09,00 Pick up under the ship with minivan mercedes.
09,00-10,00 driving to San Miniato 
10.00 a.m. meeting, short briefing ,and departure to the woods;,
10:10 a.m. walk in the forest in search of truffles (in october it will be the season of white truffles, so we'll go on the hunt for his majesty the KING OF TRUFFLES ");
11:30 a.m. visit to the statue of the largest truffle in the world, found in San Miniato village  in 1954 the weight of 2,520 kg;
12:00 a.m. lunch at the home of the truffle with fresh truffle (this experience includes also a nice cooking class / show, with the truffle hunter and his  family, and a tasting of the best wines of San Miniato), or in a special tipical restaurant with  special lunch based on truffle .
14:00/14,30  around the end ,schedule and delivery of certificates of "ambassadors of the true truffles" with the special signature of truffle dog that accompanied them in the woods in the search .
